Senior Financial Planning Manager

We are looking for a financial planning and management expert to assist our team with the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures. The successful candidates will ensure that the right systems are in place to effectively grow our organization and to ensure financial strength and efficiency. Successful candidates will be required to have a deep understanding of the financial agility of a start-up to balance the company’s ambitions through the first years of operation. This position will allow for great opportunities to grow alongside the company into a leader of the industry.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the company’s finances
  • Financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting
  • Participate in the executive development meetings to understand the company’s goals
  • Put procedures and resources in place to ensure sustainable growth
  • Assistance on all strategic and tactical matters related to budget management
  • Additional focus on operations as the company is growing
  • Work with a part-time bookkeeper to produce monthly financial statements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Hold 5+ years of industry experience in financial planning, financial management, budgeting or financial reporting
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management or related area Familiarity with the operational procedures at all levels of a similar organization
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset that translates into leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate vision to board of directors, other executives and company employees
  • Ability to understand the fast-paced environment of an architecture and tech Startup

Desired Skills:

  • Deep understanding of digital technologies in design and manufacturing
  • Deep understanding of the operations of architecture and construction
  • Experience in growing companies within a short period of time
